The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed – Part 4

    Terror by Night

Key Text: Psalm 91:5 (NKJV)“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.”

As the mystery surrounding the 3AM fire continued to unfold in my spirit, the Holy Spirit unveiled another vital truth:
There is a realm of spiritual warfare that intensifies during the night.

This lesson is titled: “Terror by Night.”

    A Time When Darkness Operates

Night is naturally a time for rest, but spiritually it can also be a time when the enemy operates under the veil of physical and mental inactivity.

The Holy Spirit reminded me that:

“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.”
    Psalm 91:5 (NKJV)

This “terror by night” is not just physical danger—it also represents unseen spiritual attacks that often strike during times of spiritual slumber.

When a believer sleeps spiritually, it creates an opening for:

    • Discouragement
    • Confusion
    • Unnoticed attacks
    • Delays and diversions

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
    1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

    Stay Spiritually Awake

It’s not just about keeping your eyes open at night—it’s about keeping your spirit man alert.

    Remaining spiritually awake means:

    • Discernment is sharp
    • The enemy’s arrows are deflected
    • The Holy Spirit can prompt and guide you

This is how we overcome the terror by night.

How to Overcome the Terror by Night

Here are four proven biblical strategies:

    1. Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
    Psalm 91:1 (NKJV)

When you make God’s presence your dwelling place, His covering becomes your shield.

    2. Trust in God’s Protection

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.”
    Psalm 125:1-3 (NKJV)

Faith is a spiritual shield. The more we trust Him, the more unshakable we become.

    3. Know Who You Are in God

“He who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”
    Zechariah 2:8 (NKJV)
“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand…”
    Isaiah 40:12 (NKJV)

As God’s child, you are not forgotten or vulnerable—you are protected in the palm of His hand.

    4. Declare God’s Word Over Your Life

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.”
    Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

Your declarations form a spiritual firewall. Speak peace, protection, and victory daily—especially before you sleep.

    A Final Prayer for You

I declare in the name of Jesus that no terror by night, no evil force, and no invisible arrow shall come near you or your family. Your sleep shall be peaceful, and your spirit shall be sharp and full of light.

The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed – Part 3

    When Men Slept

    Scripture Reference: Matthew 13:25–30

When the mysterious fire broke out, the Holy Spirit revealed to me another profound lesson: the danger of spiritual slumber.

Jesus told a parable in Matthew 13:25-30 about a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.

During my reflection after the incident, I couldn’t help but wonder:

    • Was the burning car a result of arson?
    • Did someone deliberately set the fire?
    • Could the tragedy have been avoided if someone had been alert?

In the absence of surveillance cameras or watchful eyes, evil had the opportunity to thrive.

The Reality: Evil Thrives When Men Sleep

The truth of the matter is simple but sobering: Many evils happen when men sleep.

The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart that believers are not only to be physically awake when needed but must be spiritually awake 24/7—365 days a year.

While physical rest is necessary for health and restoration, spiritual sleep is a dangerous risk.

    Believers are called to live:

    • Spiritually alert
    • Sensitive to divine signals
    • Awake and responsive in the Spirit

This doesn’t necessarily mean physical hyperactivity, but rather spiritual aliveness, even in the midst of everyday physical routines.

    The Danger of Spiritual Slumber

    The Bible warns us:

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
    Romans 8:6

    Spiritual slumber leads to:

    • Carnality
    • Vulnerability to the enemy’s attacks
    • Missed divine opportunities
    • Unconscious drift into danger

    How to Stay Spiritually Awake

To avoid falling into spiritual slumber, the Holy Spirit revealed these practices:

    1. Meditate on God’s Word Regularly

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God…”
    2 Timothy 2:15; Joshua 1:8; 1 Timothy 4:13–15

Daily meditation on Scripture keeps your spirit alive, sharp, and sensitive.

    2. Engage in Prayer and Fasting

“…This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
    Matthew 17:21; Isaiah 58:6–14

Consistent prayer and fasting sharpen your spiritual senses and strengthen your inner man.

    3. Put on the Whole Armor of God

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
    Ephesians 6:10-17

Daily spiritual warfare is essential to resist and defeat unseen attacks.

    4. Fellowship with Like-Minded Believers

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…”
    Hebrews 10:25; 1 Corinthians 15:33; Psalm 1:1–3

Staying connected to a vibrant spiritual community nurtures accountability, encouragement, and collective strength.

    5. Be Sensitive to the Leading of the Holy Spirit

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
    Romans 8:14

Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s promptings keeps you aligned with God’s agenda and shields you from unseen dangers.

The Spirit of God is always speaking, guiding, warning, and directing. Stay tuned to His voice!

My prayer for you and me is that we remain spiritually awake and alive in Christ and continue to overcome all the devil’s strategies.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
    John 10:10

May you not be found spiritually asleep when it matters most!

    Prompt Obedience

    Bible Reference: Matthew 21:28 -31

In the aftermath of the mysterious 3 AM fire, the Holy Spirit began to unveil a series of powerful spiritual lessons. The second lesson He revealed to me was clear and urgent: Prompt Obedience.

Obedience is not merely doing what we are told—it’s doing it without delay. When it comes to divine assignments, delayed obedience is disobedience. And in spiritual matters, delay can be dangerous.

    When Every Second Matters

There were three of us who responded to the fire that morning: my daughter and I, another resident in our building, and the fire department.

None of us knew exactly when or how the fire started. But what jolted both the resident and I from sleep was the same thing—an explosive sound. That blast triggered a response. I rushed to the window, saw the flames rising, and immediately called 911.

Within minutes, the fire department arrived and quenched the flames before it could spread or cause further devastation.

That moment illustrated something profound: Prompt response prevents greater destruction.

A Spiritual Parallel from the Fireground

Imagine if I had delayed. Imagine if the fire department had hesitated. The blaze could have jumped to another vehicle, possibly ignited more structures, and turned into a wild inferno.

As I meditated on this, the Holy Spirit whispered, “This is how My people should respond to Kingdom assignments.”

Just like firefighters spring into action when there’s an alarm, believers are called to respond instantly when Heaven rings the bell. Souls are perishing. Lives are burning in the flames of sin, despair, addiction, and hopelessness. When God prompts your spirit, go without delay.

The Parable of the Two Sons: Matthew 21:28–31

Jesus tells the story of a father who asked his two sons to work in his vineyard. One said “No” but later went. The other said, “I go, sir,” but never did.

In this season of evangelistic urgency—especially within the Wonder Double Agenda—God is calling every believer to bring at least three souls to church for their salvation and establishment.

In this season of evangelistic urgency, God is calling every Winner to bring at least three souls to church for their salvation and establishment on Sunday, April 27th, 2025.

    Which son are you?

    • Will you say, “I go Sir!” but delay or forget?
    • Or will you rise immediately and act?

    The King’s Business Requires Haste

    The Bible reminds us:

    “…the king’s business required haste.”
    1 Samuel 21:8 (KJV)

We must act now. Souls are hanging in the balance.

    Statistics tell us:

    • 2 people die every second
    • 120 every minute
    • 7,400 every hour
    • 178,000 every day

Where are these souls going? Many are stepping into eternal separation from God—into Hell fire—because no one reached them in time.

Your Obedience Could Be Someone’s Lifeline

    Maybe it’s a neighbor.
    Maybe it’s a coworker.
Maybe it’s someone battling suicide, depression, or addiction.
Your prompt obedience—a simple invite, a phone call, a Gospel conversation—could rescue them from eternal destruction.

Will you go out today and speak to someone about Jesus? Will you follow up and bring them to church this Sunday?

    Final Charge: Choose Obedience Today

“If thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God… all these blessings shall come on thee…”
    Deuteronomy 28:1–14

Prompt obedience is the key to divine blessings.
Delayed obedience is disobedience—and it is dangerous.

    Call to Action:

This weekend, don’t just intend to act—respond immediately.

    • Make that phone call.
    • Send that reminder text.
    • Share your faith.
    • Bring a soul to church.

Don’t delay. Eternity is at stake.

Remember, this Sunday is our Showers of Blessing Service. Your heaven of blessings will open, and you will be greatly rewarded in Jesus’ mighty name.

The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed – Part 1

Pull Them Out of the Fire

Scripture Reference: Jude 23“And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire…”

When the flames erupted at 3AM outside at the parking lot, it wasn’t just a physical fire—it was a divine signal. What began as an emergency soon unfolded into a prophetic moment. The Holy Spirit used that incident to unveil a powerful spiritual lesson that I now share in this first installment of The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed.

The Urgent Call to Pull Others Out of the Fire

    The Bible makes it clear:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

    Sin is a sinker.
    Sin is a destroyer.
God loves sinners, but He hates sin.

    The scripture continues:
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

Just as the fire department responded promptly to put out the blaze, so must we respond swiftly to a world on fire—burning in the flames of sin, addiction, brokenness, and spiritual death.

Rescue Mission: Soul Winning as Firefighting

This moment is a clear spiritual metaphor. The fire truck didn’t just show up—they acted. In the same way, soul winning is not just about preaching; it’s about pulling people out of their destructive conditions and leading them into the safety and covering of Jesus Christ.

We are not just called to preach the Gospel—we are called to rescue.

“Pull them out of the fire…” – Jude 23

As the fire was extinguished and the car later towed for repair, I was reminded that our responsibility doesn’t end with a sinner’s decision for Christ. We must invite and bring them to the Church, so they will be discipled, planted, and established in the faith and in the Church so they can grow and be transformed.

The Wonder Double Mandate: Time-Sensitive Obedience

This spiritual insight is not just timely—it aligns with our Prophetic Wonder Double Season. Every Winner has been charged to bring a minimum of three souls to church on or before Sunday, April 27th, 2025, for their salvation and establishment in the faith.

This coming Sunday is also our Showers of Blessings Service—a divine opportunity for the faithful to be rewarded with supernatural turnaround.

The National Pastor MTNSA – Pastor Isaac O. Folaji reiterating the urgency of the Wonder Double Prophetic Mandate

    Divine Rewards Await the Faithful

“God does not reward groups; He rewards individuals.”Bishop David Oyedepo

If you commit to this soul-winning mandate with all diligence and faithfulness, expect divine reward. Not just in heaven, but here on earth as God turns your obedience into undeniable testimonies.

    Call to Action

Let this message ignite a fire in your heart—not of destruction, but of passion for the lost.

    • Will you pull someone out of the fire this week?
    • Will you answer heaven’s call to rescue?
    • Will you bring them to church this Sunday?

Don’t wait. The harvest is ripe, and the time is now.

  • THE MYSTERY FIRE

    THE MYSTERY FIRE

When we hear mystery fire, our minds often drift to that unforgettable moment in Acts 2:1–4, when the Holy Ghost descended as cloven tongues of fire upon the disciples. But today, I share with you a different kind of fire—unexpected, unexplained, and deeply symbolic. A literal fire. A mystery fire.

In the early hours of this morning, around 3:00 AM, I was abruptly awakened by what sounded like a violent explosion. My first assumption? The familiar towing truck making its usual rounds to remove unauthorized vehicles from the lot. But when I peered through the blinds to confirm, what I saw stunned me—a car, completely engulfed in flames. See the video below (Video at viewer’s discretion)

“Oh my God, this is strange—this is a mystery,” I exclaimed. A fire in a parked car at such an odd hour, in a silent and tightly packed lot? I quickly woke my daughter, uncertain if we needed to evacuate. Calm and alert, she simply said, “Dad, call 911.” I did so immediately, and within just three minutes, the Fire Department arrived and put out the fire.

It turns out another resident had also heard the explosion, came to the scene and contacted emergency services at the same time.

As the fire was extinguished and the immediate danger passed, I returned indoors and settled into my personal devotion. It was then the Holy Spirit began to speak to me about the event. This wasn’t just a random occurrence. It was a moment packed with meaning and spiritual insight.

I’ll be sharing what the Holy Spirit revealed in an upcoming five-part series titled:
“The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed (Parts 1–5).”

Why do I call it a mystery fire? Because I am still trying to wrap my mind around how and why it happened. Could it have been a mechanical failure? Arson? A spiritually symbolic attack? Was it the terror by night or the pestilence that walketh in darkness as Psalm 91:5 describes?

Every strange fire—every invisible assault against your destiny—is extinguished now in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Please stay tuned for “The Mystery Fire: Lessons Revealed (Parts 1–5).” as I share the divine lessons drawn from this peculiar event. You won’t want to miss what God revealed through the flames.
